
Kids Club
We now offer three different session levels: Beginners, Intermediates, and Advanced. There is no minimum age requirement to join any session, but please read the ability descriptions carefully. All riders must be able to competently ride a pedal bike and must be under 16 years old. Each session can accommodate up to 8 kids and will last one and half hours. We recommend signing in at least 5–10 minutes beforehand to grab your wristband. We also ask participants to remove any previous bands from their handlebars so our coach can clearly see your pass. Helmets are mandatory for these sessions, we also recommend gloves, knee pads and body armour for extra protection.
Beginner sessions are best suited for riders who can competently ride a pedal bike. The session will focus on core riding skills, including body position, pumping, cornering, and even fundamentals for jumping.
Intermediate sessions are aimed at more confident riders who are ready to further progress their skills. These sessions are the next step after beginner sessions and are designed for riders looking to master proper jumping and drop techniques. Parts of the sessions may take place on the North side.
Advanced sessions will take place on our North side park and will include gap jumps and drops. The aim of these sessions is to progress the riders further to be able to hit the bigger features our park has to offer safely and under expert supervision.
Please note: sessions do not include bike and helmet hire, but these can be rented separately from the on-site bike shop, Brink.
Photographs and videos may be taken by Phoenix staff members during the coaching sessions. These may be used for our social media and marketing. If you would like to opt out, please let a member of staff know on the day of the session; otherwise, you will be automatically opted in.
