We currently don’t offer gift vouchers. However, we offer alternative options, including future ride passes and coaching passes, which make excellent gifts in place of traditional gift cards. Exclusively available from the kiosk. Learn more about gift ideas here (not just for Christmas)
Yes, we do! Our memberships offer unlimited riding for a full year, starting from the day you purchase it until the same date the following year. Not only will you enjoy unlimited riding, but you’ll also get half-price event tickets!

Absolutely! You can fill out the waiver at the kiosk and we accept cash and card payments on the day.
Any mountain bike is suitable for our park. However, if you’re used to more rugged and rough terrain, we recommend pumping up your tires more than usual and firming up your suspension to get the most out of your experience.
You can also ride the park on a BMX or a fully rigid bike, but you may find that the trails don’t feel as smooth as they look.
We have plenty of trails suitable for kids’ bikes, including balance bikes.
Basically, you can ride any bike you like. The only bikes we do not recommend are road bikes, gravel bikes, or any bike with curly handlebars due to safety concerns.
Sure, you can! We do not charge extra for e-bikes either. All we ask is that you respect people who are walking or cycling on analogue bikes and give way to them. No throttle-actuated e-bikes are allowed, and all e-bikes must comply with UK e-bike regulations.
Yes, everyone who plans to ride in our park needs to fill out a waiver. Waivers are renewed annually, so please ensure you have completed one within the last 12 months. Click here to fill it out
Yes, absolutely! You MUST wear a suitable cycling helmet at all times while riding our park. Your helmet does not need to be full face. We always recommend extra protection such as gloves, knee and elbow pads and body armour.
If you haven't got a helmet you can hire one from Brink the on site bike shop.
Yes, the sign-in kiosk is located outside, to the right of the bike shop, Brink. Please display your wristband either on your handlebars or on your wrist. If you have multiple bikes, we ask that you wear it on your wrist.
Additionally, please remove any other wristbands from your handlebars to ensure our team can easily check during spot inspections.
Don't forget to bring your loyalty card and grab a stamp to earn a FREE RIDE!

Absolutely, everyone is welcome at Phoenix Bike Park no matter your age or ability. In fact, under-5s ride free when accompanied by a full-paying family member. Otherwise, it's £5 for the whole day, and we have plenty of trails suitable for balance bikes.

Any rider under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. The supervising adult does not need to ride; they just need to stay on-site.
Yes, Yes and Yes! The Bike Park has been built to have something for everyone and we love welcoming beginners to our park. Areas around the site are marked as beginner, intermediate or advanced. Please make yourself aware of the site and what areas are best suited for you depending on your ride ability. Sessions during the weekend at the middle of the day are the busiest so if you would like to come when the site is quieter, we recommend the first sessions of the day or during the week.
We have plenty of trails on our Shop side specially designed for small bikes, perfect for the little rippers!

Absolutely, we recommend prebooking this service as they can sell out in peak periods. Bike hire is now managed through Brink the on site bike shop. Click here to book
Spectators are allowed on site but must watch from the safety areas and are not allowed to walk around the trails. Spectators do not need to purchase a ride pass.

Yes, we are able to tailor group events to meet your needs no matter how big or small, head over to our groups page for more info.
Yes, we do! Every time you pay for a rider to ride, you can collect a stamp from our kiosk when you sign in (5yrs and over). Once you have collected 5 stamps, you can redeem a FREE RIDE PASS. No cash value is given, and you can redeem it for any ride pass, including a full-day adult pass. The loyalty cards cannot be used to pay for event tickets, but you can collect a stamp when you sign in. To redeem, present your filled-up loyalty card to a staff member at the kiosk. The cards are transferable, so you can give them to a friend or family member to try out the bike park. Please remember to ask them to fill out a waiver. All rights reserved by Phoenix Bike Park.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to take on any more work experience students for 2025. We’ve been humbled by the overwhelming interest and have accommodated as many as we can, but we’re now at full capacity.
No, we do not allow drone filming and flying at Phoenix Bike Park.
Cancellations can be made up to 48 hours before the session starts, or you can reschedule your session on the day if needed. An admin fee may apply for this service. No refunds are available for same-day cancellations, and partial refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 48 hours. In case of bad weather, our park may not open, and we will notify you via email as soon as possible if this occurs. Bookings can be changed or refunded without admin fee if this happens. Please email website@phoenixcycleworks.co.uk and make sure to include your booking details.
Occasionally we may be require to cancel your booking for operational or safety reasons (snow, ice, fallen trees, high winds, heavy rain etc) or staff illness (coaching). If this situation arises you will receive an email about rescheduling your booking or alternatively you can opt to receive a full refund. Please keep an eye on our social media before you set off as we will always put any closures notices on there.
We take no financial responsibility for any other costs incurred for these cancellations (for example travel or accommodation costs). It is important that the contact number and email address left when booking are correct so we are able to get hold of you should we need to cancel. Please check our social media for any cancellation notices before you set off. You can always contact us by sending an email to website@phoenixcycleworks.co.uk or call 01638 552517 within our opening hours.
At times if there is no one booked for riding or coaching, Phoenix Cycleworks reserve the right to close.
Over 75s can ride for free all-day any day at Phoenix Bike Park, however you must check in at the kiosk, fill out a waiver and show us your ID to verify your age.
There is ample free parking on-site.
