CAUTION

FOLLOW THE CODE TO ENSURE THAT ALL RIDERS HAVE A FUN AND SAFE EXPERIENCE.

 

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE OR BAN RIDERS FROM THE PARK FOR BREACHES OF THE CONDUCT & RESPONSIBILITY CODE.

 

AVOID RIDING ALONE IF POSSIBLE. IT’S SAFER AND MORE FUN TO RIDE WITH YOUR BUDDIES.

 

STAY IN CONTROL AT ALL TIMES. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO AVOID CRASHING INTO OTHER RIDERS AND OBJECTS AROUND YOU!

 

BE RESPECTFUL AND AWARE OF OTHER RIDERS VARYING SKILL LEVELS.

 

DO NOT STOP ON THE TRAILS. PULL OFF THE TRAIL IN A SAFE PLACE IF YOU NEED TO STOP FOR ANY REASON.

 

RESPECT THE VARYING DIFFICULTY OF THE TRAILS. OUR TRAILS VARY DEPENDING ON DIFFICULTY AND ARE MARKED BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE AND FOR ADVANCED RIDERS ONLY. BEGIN ON THE EASIER TRAILS AND DO NOT RIDE TRAILS THAT ARE BEYOND YOUR CURRENT LEVEL OF ABILITY.

 

EVEN IF YOU HAVE RIDDEN A TRAIL BEFORE, BE CAREFUL! WE MAKE ONGOING CHANGES AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE TRAILS AND FEATURES, SO THEY MAY HAVE CHANGED SINCE YOUR LAST VISIT.

 

TRAIL CONDITIONS CHANGE WITH THE SEASONS AND THE WEATHER; MOUNTAIN BIKING IS AN ALL-WEATHER SPORT BUT RESPECT THE ADDED CHALLENGE AND RISK THAT RAIN, ICE, MUD, DUST AND WIND CAN POSE.

 

ALWAYS CARRY A MOBILE PHONE WITH AN ICE (IN CASE OF EMERGENCY) NUMBER.

 

IF A RIDER IS HURT, DO NOT MOVE THEM, NOTIFY THE PHOENIX BIKE PARK STAFF IMMEDIATELY OR CALL 999 IN AN EMERGENCY.

 

KEEP OFF CLOSED TRAILS AND OBEY ALL SIGNS AND WARNINGS.

 

STAY ON MARKED TRAILS ONLY. DO NOT CUT SWITCHBACKS, OR MODIFY TRAILS.

 

ONLY RIDE THE TRAILS DURING OPENING HOURS. IT IS AN OFFENCE TO USE THE TRAILS WHEN THE PARK IS CLOSED.


DO NOT RIDE AT PHOENIX BIKE PARK IF YOUR ABILITY IS IMPAIRED THROUGH THE USE OF DRUGS OR ALCOHOL.

 

BE FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL TO YOUR FELLOW RIDERS, POOR CONDUCT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

 

RIDERS 16 YEARS OF AGE AND UNDER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A LEGAL GUARDIAN (OVER 18) AT ALL TIMES.

 

ALL RIDERS MUST DISPLAY A VALID BAND ON THEIR HANDLEBAR AT ALL TIMES. EXPIRED BANDS MUST BE REMOVED FROM HANDLEBARS.

 

PLEASE HELP US MAINTAIN THE BIKE PARK. IF YOU SEE A PROBLEM ON THE TRAILS REPORT IT TO US.

Phoenix BIKE PARK Waiver Terms and conditions

  • I understand that Mountain Biking is dangerous and includes substantial obstacles, which can be physically testing. I accept that there is a risk of injury and death when undertaking such activities.

 

  • My use is voluntary, and I assume all responsibility for any property loss or damage, bodily injury, or death resulting from my participation.

 

  • I am physically able and sufficiently skilled to participate in activities and use the equipment available.

 

  • I understand that failing to comply with the standards may result in short- or long-term loss of facility use.

 

  • The trails are graded according to their required skill level. All riders must read & understand the Phoenix Cycleworks rider code of conduct before riding and ensure they ride within their ability.

 

  • Always perform a steady trial ride of any trails you intend to ride; trails change with weather conditions, erosion, and from continual trail amendments and improvements, do not assume they will always be the same each time you visit.

 

  • The Pro trails are designed for professional riders or equivalent level riders if you cannot ride the trail as it is intended to be ridden. it is vital that you do not attempt it for the safety of yourselves and your fellow riders.

 

  • Children aged 15 and under need to be always supervised by a parent or guardian (over 18 ears of age). All under 16's must have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian before riding

 

  • HELMETS are always MANDATORY when riding a bike at Phoenix Cycleworks Bike Park, ensure that your helmet meets standard EN1078 as a minimum, is less than three years old, is in good shape and properly adjusted. We highly recommend the use of full-face helmets with higher levels of protection. Gloves, eye protection and body armour are also highly recommended.

 

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that your bike is adequately maintained and safe to use.

 

  • Fixed child carriers such as shotgun seats, rear rack seats or tag-a-long devices are not permitted.

  • E-bikes are welcome, but they must be classed as an electrically assisted pedal cycle and the motor should not propel the bike beyond 15.5mph. Bikes with a throttle assist are not allowed.

 

  • I give permission for medical assistance to be administered to both me and any minors for whom I am completing this declaration in the case of an accident or in an emergency.

 

  • All vehicles are parked in the facility carpark at Phoenix Cycleworks are done so at the owner's risk.

 

  • Phoenix Cycleworks takes no responsibility for any items left unattended within the park.
Riders should always keep belongings with them.

 

  • Drugs are strictly prohibited, anyone found to be under the influence will result in removal from the premises.

 

  • Alcohol may be consumed on site if purchased from our licensed bar, riding whilst under the influence is strictly prohibited, anyone found to do so will be removed from the premises.

 

  • I hereby waive, hold harmless, release, and discharge forever to Phoenix Cycleworks, their employees, coaches, volunteers, and other agents, from all liabilities, demands, claims, or cause of action resulting from property loss, damage, bodily injury, or death that may result from my participation.

 

  • Please note what you do on the way down the trails is solely up to you - Mountain biking is an extreme sport, and you are responsible for your own safety. Phoenix Cycleworks will not accept any responsibility for any injury to any persons or damage to any bike at any time whilst using the trails.

 

  • Refunds will not be given because of damage to a bike or personal injury, nor will they be given due to change of decision or weather.

 

  • Please ensure that you have read and agree to abide by the Phoenix Cycleworks rider code of conduct and understand that failure to do so will result in removal from the premises. We reserve the right to ask any participants to leave if we consider their conduct and behaviour to be inappropriate.

 

  • I hereby agree that by purchasing a ticket or pass to use our facilities such as one of our special events, late night rides, festivals, you agree to our terms and conditions.
